Christian Science prayer brought about a permanent healing of menstruation cramps when I was a young teenager, and helped me grow spiritually. 

I have been practicing Christian Science since 2001 and in 2017 I was healed of painful inflammation and swelling in one of my breasts. I immediately called a Christian Science practitioner to help pray for healing. She reassured me about God’s allness and goodness. I felt I was safe in God’s hands.

Just as air supremacy guaranteed Allied success and victory, I saw that God’s supremacy guarantees that we can demonstrate complete health and harmony in our daily lives, even when we're having facing a scary physical pain.

In the familiar opening verses of the Gospel of John we read (1:1,3): "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. . . . All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." The Word is God's self-revealing activity, which, like the dawn, cannot be hindered or stopped.

My daughter and I were outside when we heard disturbingly loud cracking sounds. About 15 feet in front of us, a 50-foot-tall oak tree had just broken away at its stump and was falling directly toward us.
