Background

The Christian Science Reading Rooms of Metropolitan Detroit, Jointly Maintained (JMRR) is supported by area Chrisitan Science churches. We are a non-profit 501c3 organization. For nearly 100 years, Christian Science Reading Rooms have served downtown Detroit. The JMRR consists of three segments: a physical presence, a temporary pop-up, and this website.

The downtown Detroit Reading Room is located in the Millender Center (Level 2), across the street from the Renaissance Center.  Visitors to the Reading Room will find Bibles and Christian Science literature for purchase, space for onsite study, and the chance to talk to our friendly staff about Christian Science. 

In addition, the JMRR website promotes lectures, as well as other Michigan area Reading Rooms and Christian Science church activities.
